Exactly one year ago, I was on vacation in Orlando and after a flight in Kissimmee I saw the Mustangs in the hangar of Stallion 51. I went there to take some pictures and was invited to enter. I could be just a simple guy taking pictures, but I was so well attended that six months later I returned to fly the Crazy Horse. And it was undoubtedly the most memorable thing I did in 2011. I am very grateful to all staff of Stallion 51 and I promise to come back soon! I'm sorry for my bad English!!!! Best regards.

December 2011:
Thanks for making my Christmas very special.
Happy New Year to you all !
Thanks for making my Christmas very special. Ted, Kent and I had a great time on our formation flight in December. What a great experience ! Being professional military aviators, we can truly appreciate your professionally run organization. Everything from the time we arrived until departure was excellent in all respects. On a personal note, I appreciated John "Homer" Black's patience during our flight, as he helped me overcome this old helicopter pilots bad habits.
Wish you continued success.

September 2011:
Just reading your reviews on Trip Advisor was a joyful experience.
I was browsing in the “things to do” in Kissimmee on Trip Advisor and came upon reviews of your organization. I was struck by the fact that you got top ratings from every single reviewer. I started to read the reviews and found myself with tears in my eyes at the depth of the experience for every single person who wrote a review. It becomes evident that not only are you people living a life doing something you love, but, as well, you are dedicated to sharing the experience with others who dream of flying one of these aircraft and of making the experience as memorable for them as is possible. What special people you all must be! So nice when a long-time dream comes true and turns out to be as good as or better than one hoped. Just reading the reviews was a joyful experience. Thanks.

August 2011: IT CHANGED MY LIFE!!
I went to Stallion 51 the day before my scheduled flight to meet the Stallion team. I was made most welcome by Julia, Greg and the crew. I then spent a happy couple of hours being shown over the aircraft and familiarizing myself with what was to happen the next day.
The next day I had a full briefing followed by the most fantastic hour-long flight with instuctor/pilot Steve guiding me carefully through many maneuvers I had not expected to be doing.
Yes you do fly the P51d yourself.
Yes it is absolutely stunning.
Yes I will be coming back.
Thanks team !

August 2011; Drop by visit turned into the Highlight of my Vacation!
I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone at Stallion 51 following a brief visit their earlier this month when I was on vacation for the hospitality shown to a non-paying prospective customer.
Thanks to Steve for asking me, upon leaving the White 1 Foundation hangar exhibit area, “How can I help you, young man?” when my 50th birthday is in fact only four years away(!) . As well as kindly "talking Mustangs" with me. Very generous, and really welcome!
Thanks especially to Willie who not only spared time to talk me through the experience of flying such a beautiful aircraft but allowed me to take photos as well as sit in Crazy Horse itself – an experience I’ve never had from years of visiting Duxford’s Flying Legends days here in England! I was also privileged to be able to listen to a pre-flight check going on and experience things that bit more.
Your kindness and generosity are hugely appreciated. What started out as a speculative drop-by visit turned out to be one of the highlights of my vacation! Perhaps next time – and certainly for my 50th – my next visit will be pre-booked with a flight.
Thanks again and kindest regards to you all.

May 28, 2011:
If you ever dreamed of flying a Mustang, this is the place to come.
As we climbed to altitude in formation, holding the TF-51 stick felt like I was holding a piece of history in the palm of my hand. I caught myself looking for the B-17s I am to protect while looking over my shoulder for the enemy ME-109s. John "Homer" Black, my front seat pilot, took me through all types of maneuvers; rolls, loops, etc... and allowed me to fly the fighter from take-off to landing. Stallion 51 is a very professional organization from start to finish. If you ever dreamed of flying a P-51, this is the place to make that dream come true.

July 30, 2011: The PERFECT 60th Birthday Present! Thanks so much to everyone at Stallion 51 for making my Mustang flight such a great and memorable experience. With all the anticipation and a lifetime of wanting to fly a Mustang, it was going to be hard to live up to the expectations...and it did that in spades. From the first class Flight Ops Center and Spotless Hangar, the warm welcome from everyone we met, the thorough briefing, which my wife enjoyed too (really!), the detailed safety briefing, and finally the flight of a lifetime.
It was an extraordinary experience. I appreciate it more and more every day as I am constantly having "flashbacks" of moments from the flight. I keep saying to myself..."WOW! That was really cool!!! I wanna do it again!" I have photos that will be my screen savers for a long time. We all know there is not much in this world better looking than a well maintained Mustang.
I can't imagine anything you could have done to make it a more enjoyable experience and a better 60th Birthday present.

June 2001:
Sharing a formation flight and memories with my son. Priceless!
My dream flight, with my son Paul, in a TF-51 finely became a reality on June 7th, 2011. I have a pilot's license but have not flown a plane since 1967. I wanted my son and I to have the EXPERIENCE OF A LIFE TIME. My instructor Steve "Mad Dog" Larmore, Paul's, instructor John "Homer" Black gave us that experience. We flew two planes at the same time. We took off, flew and landed in formation. Simulated pursuits and performed a number of aerial combat maneuvers. Pulled 4 G's and flew at 330 mph. Lets do it again someday!!! Thanks for letting us fly Mustangs with you!!!!

June 2011: A Lifelong Dream Fulfilled! I was privileged to fulfill a lifelong dream and fly your beautiful Mustang with Steve Larmore on 30 June 2011. It was terrific, confidence building experience which I will cherish and rave about forever. ...... pulling up to the hangar and catching a glimpse of not one but three shiny, real, working Mustangs through the open back door, if that won't get an aviation and history enthusiast excited, I do not know what will. I can't wait to come back and do it again. The experience rejuvenated my love for flying. I am not a certified pilot, but have received some lessons here and there, and maybe I'll purse my certificate now. Julia was a great host as well. Everything was organized and smooth; she kept my wife comfortable while we were off flying. Even my wife finally realized how much the flight meant to me, she got to sit through my pre-flight brief with Steve and accompanied me to the plane. Thanks too for the ability to video my flight. That feature is priceless. As a matter of indisputable fact, the whole experience, although costly, is priceless. I can't wait to come back!

April 2011: Just got home and want to do it AGAIN!
I am back home and still having some disbelief that I actually flew in "Crazy Horse" ......I only regret that the hour flight went so fast. I am already thinking that I will have to come back and try it again.
Thank you to all at Stallion 51 for making my fight on 4 April 2011 such a tremendous success. Particular thanks goes to my pilot John Posson for making it such a thoroughly enjoyable and thrilling experience for me, for allowing me to fly the aircraft as much as I did and for allowing me to perform as man maneuvers as I did. Between his careful briefing and instructions and the immaculate behavior of the machine itself, somehow it all seemed quite natural to be free-wheeling among the clouds. Having carefully viewed the video of the flight, I find it quite amazing to see the contrast between my very tentative handling of the aircraft at the beginning of the flight as compared to my positively exuberant maneuvering towards the end as we indulged in some cloud chasing.
The Mustang behaved flawlessly and my impression of it was that it gave the pilot the confidence to fly it and to fly it with passion! It felt solid yet responsive, reliable, dependable but still a thoroughbred and the all around view from the bubble canopy seemed limitless.
As I think back on that day that I flew, I realize how fortunate it was for me to be able to experience the thrill of actually flying in a P51 Mustang. I feel very humbled when I think that 60+ years ago young men were place in these famous flying machines to defend our way of life. Before, I would only imagine and dream what they thought, but now I believe that I have experienced a little of what they may have felt.

Let me start by thanking Stallion 51 for perpetuating the mystique of the historic P-51 Mustang, and for allowing those, like me, who otherwise would only sit and dream, have the opportunity to actually fly a powerful piece of this country’s history, a legend!
I remember the first time I experienced the awesome growl of the massive Merlin housed in the mighty Mustang. I was all of seven years old witnessing my first air show in Ashland, KY. Dad reminds me how I grabbed and hugged his leg, I was afraid! A new and unfamiliar sound! Ironically, the airplane stayed in my mind, perhaps from the introductory fear, perhaps of her graceful lines, perhaps because for her showmanship. Whatever the cause, as my passion for aviation grew so did my interest in the Mustang. I am no different that most people who witness and study the airplane, but I am now different because of your willingness to share the Mustang with others. I am a member of a select few who have had the opportunity to feel her power, enjoy her grace, and ride the back of a truly powerful beast you have aptly named “Crazy Horse”.

I want to take this opportunity to again thank you and your staff for the greatest experience in my aviation career – the opportunity to fly with you in Crazy Horse!
Needless to say, I’m very impressed with the P51 Mustang and hope to return to get a little more flying experience with it.

I must begin by expressing my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you that helped to make my dreams turn into a lifetime memory. Your hospitality and professionalism have perfect balance to make ANYONE feel as part of “the family”.
