Steven Tellmann is this year’s Aerospace Center for Excellence Stratos “Flight Lead” winner. Steve is an Honor student at the Central Florida Aerospace Academy. He is a glider CFI and will be competing with team USA in Poland this summer at the Junior Gliding championship. But, above and beyond all his aviation accomplishments, Steven is a mentor to others, encouraging them in their aviation pursuits and leading by example, a true “flight lead” Stallion 51 Flight Operations Lee Lauderback rewarded him with a flight in our dual cockpit-dual control Mustang the last day of SUN ‘n FUN. Angela West and Lee Lauderback have supported and sponsored the Stratos program since inception 10 years ago.
